Karel De GuchtMr. Karel De Gucht, State Minister, is the President of the Institute for European Studies (IES) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) – his alma mater (Masters of Laws, 1976) and where he teaches European Law. He was also a Spring Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School (2015). He holds the position of Director at ArcelorMittal, is a Member to the Advisory Board of CVC Capital Partners and serves on the Board of Proximus.

Mr. De Gucht was a prominent figure in European, Belgian and Flemish politics, serving as the European Commissioner for Trade (2010-2014) during the second Barroso Commission, where he was pivotal in negotiating, concluding and managing several European Free Trade and Investment Agreements with key partner countries.

He was also the European Commissioner for Development and Humanitarian Aid in 2009-2010 and the Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and International Trade (2004-2009). Undoubtedly politics is and remains Mr. De Gucht’s speciality, his passion. He continues to be the frequent contact point for political commentary worldwide among different stakeholders and shares his insights as an avid column writer for Belgium’s largest newspaper, Het Laatste Nieuws.

Alexander GebauerCyrille Deslandes is Director of Group Investments, reporting directly to Klépierre‘s management board and is a member of the Group’s management team.
He joined Klépierre 3 years ago in the investment team as head of mergers and acquisitions. He contributed to improving the Group’s asset portfolio by successfully managing several significant acquisitions and divestments.
He started his career at Deloitte in 2002, becoming manager specializing in due diligence and valuation in France and the United States, before joining HSBC in 2007 where he was director of mergers and acquisitions for hotels and leisure. Cyrille Deslandes graduated from EM Lyon Business School / Ludwig Maximilians Universität Programm.

Alexander GebauerAlain Durré is Executive Director, Senior European Economist and Chief Economist in the Goldman Sachs Paris office. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2014. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Alain was Principal Economist in the Monetary Policy Strategy Division of the Directorate General Economics of the European Central Bank and Associate Professor of Finance at IESEG-School of Management of Lille Catholic University (France). He was also a member of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in France (LEM-CNRS). From 2002 to 2014 he also acted as monetary policy advisor for the International Monetary Fund on topics related to the money market and the conduct of monetary policy (strategy and implementation) and taught as visiting professor in the Economics School of Louvain at the Universite catholique de Louvain (Belgium). He has published various papers on monetary and financial economics. In 2005 he was awarded the Joseph de la Vega Prize for his work on the microstructure analysis of the Euronext Stock Exchange.

Alexander GebauerAlexander Gebauer is CEO West Europe for Allianz Real Estate and holds responsibility for Allianz’s real estate activities in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain and Portugal.
Alexander is also a Member of the Allianz Real Estate GmbH Board and Executive Committee.
From 1999 to 2009 Alexander held various positions in Finance, Operations and HR in Allianz SE.

David RendallDavid Rendall is Director of International Real Estate Business Development at La Française and Chief Executive of La Française Real Estate Partners International.  David is a Chartered Surveyor with 31 years of property experience in both the UK and continental European Markets. Prior to La Française Real Estate Partners International, David was the CEO of Cushman & Wakefield Investors, having co-founded its predecessor firm, Fountain Capital Partners in 2002. David was previously an International Director at Jones Lang LaSalle. David holds a degree in Land Management from De Montfort University and is a member of the RICS.

Matthew RichardsMatthew Richards is an International Director based in London and Head of JLL EMEA Capital Markets. Working closely with the EMEA Capital Markets Strategy Board and country lead directors, Matthew provides overall leadership for JLL’s Capital Markets business and strategy for the region. He’s also a member of the EMEA Management Board and the Global Capital Markets Board of JLL.
Matthew is an International Director based in London and Head of EMEA Capital Markets. Working closely with the EMEA Capital Markets Strategy Board and country lead directors, Matthew provides overall leadership for JLL’s Capital Markets business and strategy for the region. He’s also a member of the EMEA Management Board and the Global Capital Markets Board of JLL.

Alexander GebauerAmaury de Crombrugghe is Chief Investment Officer (Office, Warehouse and Retail) for AG Real Estate where he manages a portfolio representing more than 4 billion euros.
Amaury is a board member of AG Real Estate and companies owned by AGRE as well as a board member of BECI.
Prior to joining AG Real Estate, Amaury served as Investment Manager-Director for Banimmo.

Marnix GalleMarnix Galle is Executive Chairman of the Board of IMMOBEL and Chair of ULI in Belgium. He began his professional career in 1987 at Cegos Belgium as a consultant.  He made his first steps in real estate as of 1989 (family portfolio). He created Allfin in 2001, which became a leading real estate developer in the Belgian and Luxembourg markets. He became IMMOBEL’s majority shareholder and its Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors, following the merger between Allfin Group and IMMOBEL on June 29th 2016, creating the largest property development group listed in Belgium. He is also Chair of Urban Land Institute in Belgium.

Christophe JacobsChristophe Jacobs joined CODIC group in 2006 and holds the position of Managing Director of Codic Belgium. Previously, he was Project Manager, Director and Deputy General Manager of Codic Belgium. In particular, he managed the ZIR Gaucheret development project in Brussels, the marketing of the Atlantis and Wavre projects. He initiated office developments on the Brussels Airport site.
He holds a degree in Applied Economics and Financial Sciences from the University of Antwerp, as well as a postgraduate degree in Real Estate from Solvay Business School and a Master in Real Estate from de KU Leuven.
Before joining Codic Group, Christophe Jacobs worked at Deloitte Real Estate as a Consultant and at ING as Real Estate Portfolio Manager.
He is also a member of VOKA and UPSI-BVS.

Michel Van Geyte Michel Van Geyte is Chief Investment Officer of Leasinvest Real Estate Management SA. Van Geyte was appointed as Commercial Manager of Leasinvest Real Estate Management NV in August 2004. He worked at Knight Frank as a Managing Partner and has fifteen years of experience in real estate. He serves as a Director of a.o. Leasinvest Immo Lux. He has been an Executive Director of Leasinvest Real Estate Management SA- Statutory Manager of Leasinvest Real Estate SCA since March 19, 2013.

VroninksJean-Philip Vroninks is Managing Director Belux of JLL in Belgium and Luxembourg. He became responsible for the investment market department after the merger of JLL with King Sturge in 2011 where he was a managing director since 2003. He is a law graduate and started his career as a Senior Auditor for KPMG.

Jean BlavierJean Blavier holds a master in Economics and a master in Communications. Subsequently he became a journalist for Agence Belga, La Libre Belgique, L’Echo and RTBF radio and television. Jean Blavier is specialized in writing about political, economic and real estate matters. He gives media training, is a teacher, moderates debates and is author of various financial and patrimonial books.
