Ian Mulcahey
Ian is the Global Director of Cities who works across the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Africa on some of the most pioneering and innovative planning and regeneration projects of our generation. Ian specialises in defining visions for transformational change and is a trusted advisor to clients, working with them to help solve complex urban challenges.
With over 35 years of experience, Ian has a deep understanding of the various political, commercial, and social drivers that influence planning delivery. He has led the creation of numerous masterplans for cities around the world including the International Financial Centre, Dubai; a cultural and entertainment district for Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi; and a mixed-use community at 205 Feddan, Cairo. Ian has also recently developed a public realm strategy for the revitalisation of Fleet Street Quarter in London. A thinker on urban issues and a regular international speaker and panellist at events including COP, Ian is often called upon to help define the future direction of urban growth and transformation.
Evert Jan van Garderen
Evert Jan van Garderen is the CEO of Eurocommercial Properties N.V., a listed leading owner and operator of shopping centres across four European countries.
With over 35 years of experience in finance and property investment, he previously served as the company’s CFO for 25 years before becoming CEO in 2020.
Evert Jan, a graduate of Erasmus University Rotterdam, is both a Chartered Accountant and a qualified lawyer.
Amandine Chizelle
Amandine is Country CEO of JLL Belux as well as Head of Tétris & PDS Belux.
Amandine's new role will focus on accelerating growth and strengthening key relationships across the Belux market. She will play a pivotal role in enhancing synergies between JLL and Tétris, championing the 'One JLL' integrated platform to deliver comprehensive solutions spanning workplace transformation for corporate occupiers and strategic asset repositioning and value creation services for property owners and investors. Her client-centric approach and passion for innovation will be pivotal in supporting businesses navigating evolving workplace strategies. In addition to her country leadership role, Amandine will spearhead both Tétris and Project & Development Services for the Belux region.
Amandine is recognized for her expertise in sustainability, innovation, and technology within the real estate sector. She is well-known for bringing ideas and people together to create the best value for our clients. Her technical background combined with extensive industry experience enables her to drive forward-thinking solutions that meet modern business needs while addressing ESG considerations. She specializes in delivering integrated design and build strategies that optimize functionality, efficiency, and sustainable outcomes.
Prior to her current roles, Amandine built a strong foundation in real estate through positions at several property developers across France and Belgium. This experience equipped her with comprehensive insights into the real estate market dynamics of both countries and strengthened her project management capabilities in diverse property sectors and large scale of projects and teams.
Amandine holds a Civil Engineering degree from École Spéciale des Travaux Publics (ESTP) in Paris, one of France's prestigious engineering schools, providing her with the technical knowledge that underpins her approach to the built environment.
Olivier Carrette
Olivier Carrette, a Belgian legal and real estate expert, has been the CEO of UPSI-BVS since 2007. UPSI-BVS is the Belgian professional association for the real estate sector, representing key players in property development, investment, and land parcelling. Before taking up this role, Olivier built significant expertise in real estate law and notarial practice, having graduated with a Master’s in Law and Notary studies from KU Leuven in 1995.
His prior experience includes working in legal and advisory roles within the real estate sector, where he perfected his knowledge of property development and investment. At UPSI-BVS, Olivier focuses on collaboration between public and private sectors to address challenges like urbanization, mobility, and sustainability. He is also deeply involved in initiatives to mentor young professionals and integrate innovative technologies into real estate practices.
Jeff Cavens
Jeff Cavens is CEO at Triple Living, a leading Belgian real estate development firm dedicated to creating vibrant, sustainable residential and mixed-use neighbourhoods with a strong emphasis on architectural quality, community value and long-term urban impact. Triple Living’s portfolio spans major transformation projects, bringing thoughtful design and socially engaged development to cities across Belgium.
Prior to joining Triple Living, Jeff built experience across real estate development, investment and project management, working on complex urban projects that combine strategic vision with financial discipline. He holds academic degrees from the University of Oxford and additional higher education in economics (KULeuven) and real estate (Solvay Business School), providing him with a strong analytical foundation and an international perspective on urban development and property markets.
Carl-Philip de Villegas
Carl-Philip de Villegas is since 2022 CEO of Straco Real Estate, the real estate company of Straco. He is responsible for the development of the investment portfolio, as well as the management of the development portfolio companies. Straco Real Estate is active in Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, Romania and Poland. Carl-Philip started his career as a lawyer at NautaDulith and Strelia, where he advised clients in M&A and real estate transactions. After leaving the Brussels’ bar association in 2015, he joined IRET as legal counsel and was promoted later on from Head of legal to CO-CEO. Carl-Philip holds a Masters’ degree in Law from the Catholic University of Leuven and a Masters’ degree in General Management from Vlerick Business School.
Christopher Dembik
Christopher Dembik joined Pictet Asset Management in 2023 as a Senior Investment Strategy Advisor within the France-Belux Distribution team.
Before joining Pictet, Christopher previously worked for nine years as Head of Macro Economic Research at Saxo Bank, leading the Bank’s research in Europe and in the Middle East. He began his career at the Direction Générale du Trésor (French Ministry of Finance) as an economic analyst before joining Wingate Ventures as macro-economist and FX analyst.
He is a board member of the listed companies 4D Medica and SubGen (formerly SubstrateAI) and non-executive chairman at the startup Oceans.ai.
Since September 2025, he has been the host of the weekly show “Tout Pour Investir – La MasterClass” on the French TV channel BFM Business.
Christopher holds a Masters in International Relations from Sciences Po Paris, and an MBA in Business and Economics from Poland’s Academy of Science.
He received the award of best forecast for France in 2015 and for Germany in 2019 by Reuters and Refinitiv.
He is also a reservist with the rank of squadron leader in the French gendarmerie nationale.
Serge Fautré
Serge Fautré is Chief Executive Officer of AG Real Estate, the real estate arm of Belgian insurer AG, and real estate advisor of Ageas. He joined AG Real Estate in 2012, after ten years as Chief Executive Officer of Cofinimmo.
He served as Chairman of EPRA (European Public Real Estate Association) from 2005 to 2009.
He is Chairman of Interparking and Anima (care homes for elderly), Vice-Chairman of Ascencio, Honorary Chairman of UPSI/BVS (Belgian Professional Real Estate Association), which he chaired from 2017 to 2020, and Chairman of the Real Estate Executive Master programme at UCL St Louis. He is a Board Member of Société de la Tour Eiffel, and was also a Board Member of the French insurer AG2R La Mondiale from 2000 to 2020.
He holds a Master in Economics from the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium) and a Master of Business Administration from Chicago Booth Business School (1983).
Stefaan Gielens
As Aedifica’s Chief Executive Officer, Stefaan Gielens (1965) not only oversees the general activities of the Group, he is also the driving force behind the strategy and internationalisation of the Group. Stefaan Gielens obtained a Master of Law a and a Postgraduate Certificate in Real Estate at KU Leuven.
From 1989 until 1994, Stefaan was a lawyer at the Brussels Bar. In 1994 he started working for the Brussels based Immolease NV, a company within nowadays KBC Group. Over the years until 2005 he held several positions within KBC Group, such as transaction manager, Secretary General of the Almafin Group, Managing Director of Almafin Real Estate NV, Director of Immolease-Trust NV (a company issuing private, public and listed real estate certificates) and Head of real estate management of KBC Bank and KBC Real Estate. In 2006, he started his career at Aedifica as Chief Executive Officer. Under his leadership, Aedifica grew from a small start-up into an international pure-play healthcare real estate investor active in six countries and included in the BEL20 (the leading share index of Euronext Brussels).
Stefaan Gielens joined Aedifica’s Board of Directors as Managing Director in 2006. He is a member of Aedifica’s Investment Committee and chairs the Executive Committee. He is also Director and Manager of various Aedifica subsidiaries.
Dominique Moerenhout
Dominique Moerenhout is the CEO of EPRA (European Public Real Estate Association), the voice of the publicly traded European real estate sector. He has been active in the Pan-European real estate investment management sector for over 25 years. Dominique joined EPRA in 2017, moving from BNP Paribas REIM where he held the CEO position for the BeNeLux and Pan-European Real Estate Funds.
He started his career in 1997 as a Portfolio Manager followed by five years as an investment management consultant for KPMG Consulting. He then was appointed COO at Fortis Private Real Estate from 2004 until 2011 before becoming the COO of BNP Paribas Real Estate UK in 2011-2014.

Ian is a member of IE University’s Center for Sustainable Cities Scientific Committee and a member of the Urban Land Institute. He is the former Chair of the Aldgate Partnership where he successfully established a new BID between the City of London and Tower Hamlets and former Chair of the European Urban Regeneration Council. He studied at the University of Westminster, earning a Diploma in Urban Planning Implementation and B.A. (Hons) in Urban Planning Studies.
Frédéric Renard
Frédéric Renard is Co-Head of European Listed Real Estate Research at Kepler Cheuvreux, an independent brokerage firm that provides buying and selling advice to institutional investors on the equity market. Frédéric is specialized in the listed real estate sector that he has covered for almost 8 years. Frédéric began his professional experience at PwC where he worked as an auditor in the financial services department for real estate and banking clients for nearly four years.
Later at CBRE, he served as an associate director responsible for determining the value of assets in various real estate sectors such as residential, office, semi-industrial, logistics, and retail.
Passionate about finance, Frédéric Renard pursued the three levels of the CFA program, considered the "Finance Bible" internationally, after completing his studies.
He will be discussing the publicly traded market, as well as the current undemanding valuation observed in this uncertain period, with discussion on what is a good target in terms of acquisition.
Phil Ryan
Phil Ryan is the Director of Cities Research, part of JLL’s Global Insight platform based out of London. In his role, he works with a variety of industry leaders ranging from developers to asset managers, equity funds, city authorities and multinational corporates to translate the language of the built environment into strategies and advice for navigating a rapidly changing real estate landscape in cities around the world. He is a recognised leader in understanding the interaction between market fundamentals, city dynamics and long-term spatial planning and development trajectories and regularly speaks at conferences and events focusing on repairing and enhancing spaces and places.
In his previous role, Phil was the director of JLL’s US Office Research platform in New York, where he focused on both national and local trends in the office market across more than 50 metro areas, with an emphasis on integrating economic and demographic data into real estate analysis, outlooks and decision-making as well as contributing to JLL’s quarterly office report suite and industry-specific reporting.
Phil holds an undergraduate degree in geography with a focus on urban planning and development from the George Washington University and is an alumnus of the General Course program at the London School of Economics.
Chris Staveley
Chris has 30+ years of European office Capital Markets experience and a significant track record in office transactions.
He has worked for JLL in London, Paris and Brussels. He has deep, long-established knowledge of Europe’s Office markets and strong relationships with all major investor groups.
Chris works closely with JLL’s International Capital Coverage Team, sourcing global capital for major European office transactions and JLL’s European.
Chris has worked on numerous asset and portfolio transactions across 20 European Markets and advised most of the region’s major Investment Managers, Private Equity groups, Banks, developers and REITs. Chris’s experience spans transactions ranging in size from €50m to >€1.5bn per transaction.
He graduated from the University of Reading (College of Estate Management) with a BSc in Real Estate Investment and Finance. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a member of the Urban Land Institute Europe (ULI).

Adel Yahia
Adel Yahia is the CEO of Immobel. He currently leads a team of about a hundred and thirty people, active in 7 countries with a development portfolio, valued at around 4 billion euros. Passionate about his job, Adel Yahia also focuses on training and evolving his teams. Integrating societal aspects into Immobel's vision is another one of his priorities.
He joined Immobel in 2017, where he was originally recruited as Director of Development.
With a degree in law, he also pursued a master's in general management at Vlerick Business School, not to mention his time at Solvay and KU Leuven. This combination of education opened his eyes to the real estate sector, which he finds fascinating for its ability to "create something from scratch and have an influence on the built environment of a city."
Adel Yahia is also lecturer at KU Leuven, VUB, and Saint-Louis.
Vincent Van Brée
Vincent started his professional journey in 2000 at Carrefour Global Corporate Treasury in Brussels, where he served as a financial controller. In this role, he oversaw the financial control department, focusing on managing financial statements across Carrefour's subsidiaries in Asia, Europe, and America. In January 2007, Vincent transitioned to the Investment Department at King Sturge, broadening his expertise in the real estate sector.
Following the merger between King Sturge and JLL, Vincent joined the Belgian Capital Markets team of JLL in Brussels in the summer of 2011. His career progression continued, and in January 2017, he was appointed Head of the Capital Markets department in Luxembourg and of the Office Capital Markets for Belux. As of January 2024, Vincent has assumed leadership of the Belux Capital Markets team, further solidifying his position in the industry.
Throughout his career, Vincent has accumulated extensive experience in a wide array of investment and marketing transactions. He has cultivated strong relationships within the international investment community, collaborating with prominent entities such as AG Real Estate, AXA IM, Befimmo, Blackstone and numerous others. Vincent's expertise spans investment advisory and more recently debt & equity advisory demonstrating his comprehensive understanding of the market dynamics.
Vincent holds a Master degree in Finance and Economics from UC Louvain.
