David Rea

Global Director of Macro Research and Chief Economist EMEA - JLL

David Rea is Global Director of Macro Research and Chief Economist EMEA at JLL, one of the world’s largest commercial real estate services companies. At JLL, David advises the firm’s leadership and its clients on how the economy is evolving and the impact it will have on real estate markets globally, working across all client types. Prior to JLL, David spent six years as Chief Economist at Jaguar Land Rover and also led the company’s work to prepare for Brexit. He has previously held other economist positions at Capital Economics, RBS, and the Bank of Sierra Leone.

Philippe Ledent​

Senior Economist at ING Belgium

Philippe Ledent is part of the team responsible for the global economic and financial scenario of ING Group. He is also specifically in charge of the Belgian and Luxembourg economies. He teaches economics at University of Louvain and University of Namur. Previously, he was a researcher in economics. He is also the author of scientific articles on the Belgian economy and columnist in different newspapers.

Philippe Ledent has a master degree in Economics and in financial economics from University of Louvain.

Yeliz Bicici

COO, In charge of Offices & Real Estate Development & Healthcare Spain, Germany and Finland, Cofinimmo

Yeliz Bicici joined Cofinimmo as Property Manager in 2008, then as Area Manager and subsequently as Development Manager, before becoming Head of Development in 2014. She assumes the role of Chief Operating Officer Offices & Real Estate Development since July 2018. Additionally, she holds several mandates in Cofinimmo group subsidiaries. She is also a director of Mirabel Hoiva Oy. She holds a dual Master’s degree in Real Estate from Antwerp Management School and KUL, she completed the General Management Programme at the Harvard Business School.

She attended a post-graduate training at the University of Ghent and some post-graduate trainings in financial analysis. Before joining Cofinimmo, she worked for the developer Robelco (JV of E. De Vocht and J. Lisman) from 2001 to 2008, and for Uniway until 2001. Within Cofinimmo, she supervises Healthcare Germany, Healthcare Spain, Healthcare Nordic countries departments as well as the Development, Project Management, Offices, and Distribution networks departments.

Nicolas Billen

Independent Developer, Pride Rock

Nicolas Billen is a Belgian professional in the real estate and urban development sector. Until recently, he served as Business Developer at CORES Development, specializing in residential and commercial real estate projects in Belgium.
Notable contributions include the conversion of the iconic Royale Belge building in Brussels into “Mix,” a multifunctional complex featuring offices, a hotel, coworking spaces, and wellness facilities, while preserving its architectural heritage.
Nicolas is also the president of Up4North, an association of key real estate players active in Brussels’ North Quarter, focusing on the area’s transformation. He regularly participates in debates and symposiums on sustainable real estate and urban transformation, sharing his expertise on building reconversion and innovative, environmentally-friendly projects.

His commitment to sustainable real estate is evident in his involvement in events like Brussels Real Estate 2024, where he discussed projects aiming for high-level environmental certifications.

Olivier Carrette

CEO UPSI-BVS

Olivier Carrette, a Belgian legal and real estate expert, has been the CEO of UPSI-BVS since 2007. UPSI-BVS is the Belgian professional association for the real estate sector, representing key players in property development, investment, and land parcelling. Before taking up this role, Olivier built significant expertise in real estate law and notarial practice, having graduated with a Master’s in Law and Notary studies from KU Leuven in 1995.

His prior experience includes working in legal and advisory roles within the real estate sector, where he perfected his knowledge of property development and investment. At UPSI-BVS, Olivier focuses on collaboration between public and private sectors to address challenges like urbanization, mobility, and sustainability. He is also deeply involved in initiatives to mentor young professionals and integrate innovative technologies into real estate practices​.

Michiel Celis

Partner, TPG Real Estate

Michiel Celis is a Partner based in London and co-heads the European team for TPG Real Estate. He oversees TPG’s industrial and datacenter investments across Europe. Mr. Celis is a Belgian national and speaks Dutch and English. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Intervest, 4th Industrial and CT Real Estate. Mr. Celis was also responsible for TPG’s previous investments in Icon Industrial, Arlington and P3 Logistic Parks.

Jo De Wolf

CEO Montea

Since October 2010, Jo has been the CEO of Montea, a Belgian REIT specializing in logistics and industrial real estate across Belgium, the Netherlands, France, and Germany. Montea manages over 2,000,000m² of logistic space and last mile hubs, and holds a landbank of 2,700,000m² for future growth, embodying its motto: “Space for Growth.”

Since 2005, Jo has shared his expertise through professional lectures, including sessions at KU Leuven and SPRYG. He joined the board of UPSI-BVS and became Director at Re-Vive NV in 2017. In 2020, he was appointed Chairman of ION – PDF2. From 2021 to 2024, he served as a Director of The Shift, advocating for sustainability. In 2024, Jo further expanded his influence by joining the boards of Nextensa and Kinepolis Group.

Jo De Wolf holds a Master’s in Applied Economics (KU Leuven) and a Master’s in Business Administration (Vlerick Management School). Since 1997, he has built an accomplished career in European real estate, specializing in asset management and development. His early roles included managing significant projects like Tour & Taxis in Brussels while working with Leasinvest Real Estate and Extensa Group. From 2006 to 2010, Jo served as Real Estate Director at The Brussels Airport Company, where he directed new developments and asset management for Europe’s sixth-largest airport. 

Marc Fauchille

Head of Development and Repurposing, Europe - LaSalle Investment Management

Marc Fauchille is Head of Development and Repurposing, Europe, a position he assumed in June 2022. In this role, he is responsible for the performance of the specialist European Development and Repurposing platform, a pillar of the pan-European asset management function focused on larger, more complex and higher-return developments. Marc is based in Paris and operates with his team across Europe. The Development and Repurposing platform is currently managing 440.000 sqm2 of new construction and refurbishment projects within 7 countries representing a Net Development Value of circa €5.8 billion. Marc is also leading the Asset Management team in UK. He also supports transactional work across core-plus and value-add strategies. In addition, Marc sits on LaSalle’s European Asset Management Board, integrating LaSalle’s geographical, sector and development asset management expertise across the wide range of European markets and sectors in which it invests. He is a member of LaSalle’s European Sustainability Task Force and chairs the Development Working Group. Previously, Marc was a Development and Asset Management Director at LaSalle for France and Luxembourg, focusing mainly on value-add strategies. Prior to joining LaSalle in 2019, Marc was a Project and Development Services Associate Director at JLL for 10 years. Marc holds a Master’s degree in engineering from ESTP Paris, a Specialized Master’s degree from HEC Paris Business school and a Certificate of Real Estate from the Chair HEC Paris / Unibail-Rodamco / Morgan Stanley.

Sebastien Giordano

Country Lead JLL Belux

Sebastien Giordano is currently serving as the Country Lead for JLL Belgium and Luxembourg since September 2023, while also holding the position of Head of Project & Development Services (P&DS) for JLL Belux, which he joined in late 2022.

In these roles, Sebastien is committed to delivering exceptional client service and driving JLL’s growth in the Belux region. He plays a crucial role in implementing integrated investment and corporate client solutions, while also strengthening the One JLL platform in Belux and across EMEA.

Sebastien is a passionate advocate for the development of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in real estate with the goal of shaping a more sustainable and resilient business models. His aspiration is to create sustainable and durable value, recognizing the crucial role the built environment plays in the path towards reducing carbon emissions.

With nearly two decades of international experience, Sebastien began his career in France and then moved to Malta, overseeing the delivery of a Renzo Piano project with Bovis LendLease and later joining the Developer AX Group. He relocated to Belgium in 2016 to lead the redevelopment of the Astoria Hotel in Brussels. Prior to joining JLL, Sebastien served as the head of the AECOM PMCM department for BeLux.

Sandra Gottcheiner

Development and Innovation/Sustainability Director - BPI Real Estate

Sandra Gottcheiner is Development and Innovation/Sustainability Director at BPI Real Estate (CFE Group) and president of the ESG Committee at UPSI-BVS.

She has a broad experience in acquisition, design and sales of large urban development and partnerships (office, residential, hotel, …).

BPI Sustainability team promotes Taxonomy and CSRD within BPI Real Estate while improving concretely the environmental and social impacts in and around the development projects.

Sandra studied Civil Engineering with additional MBA and finance courses (ULB Polytechnics & Solvay/INSEAD). She is teaching Futureproofed Real Estate at Solvay Business School (ULB) and in Polytechnics ULB.

Brad Greenway

Co-Head
Debt and Structured Finance, International Capital Markets, JLL EMEA

Brad is a Co-head of the Debt and Structured Finance team, based out of the London office.

He is primarily responsible for originating and executing debt and structured finance transactions throughout Africa, Europe and Middle East with additional advisory experience on financings in Asia Pacific, North America and South America.

During Brad’s tenure at HFF and JLL, he has advised on transactions in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Cayman Islands, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Guyana, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Romania, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UAE, United Kingdom and the United States.

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Brad joined HFF in the firm’s Dallas office in 2013, moved to the firm’s Los Angeles in 2014, and subsequently moved to the London office in 2017 to establish HFF’s European debt and equity placement platform.

Brad is graduated from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration

CEO Eaglestone Belgium

Sophie Lambrighs has been CEO of Eaglestone Belgium since 2019.
Created in 2012, Eaglestone Belgium is the first subsidiary of the Eaglestone Group. Located in Brussels, the Belgian entity currently manages a portfolio of 16 ongoing projects, covering 135.363 m² in construction and development. The group also operates in Luxembourg and France as part of its European diversification strategy. Specializing in residential, office, hotel, coliving, and student housing segments, the group is dedicated to creating living and working environments. Eaglestone Group implements an ESG strategy that aligns with their responsible business practices, including a strong environmental approach focused on achieving carbon neutrality and obtaining international certifications for occupant well-being and comfort.

Dominique Moerenhout

CEO EPRA

Dominique Moerenhout is the CEO of EPRA (European Public Real Estate Association), the voice of the publicly traded European real estate sector. He has been active in the Pan-European real estate investment management sector for over 25 years. Dominique joined EPRA in 2017, moving from BNP Paribas REIM where he held the CEO position for the BeNeLux and Pan-European Real Estate Funds.

He started his career in 1997 as a Portfolio Manager followed by five years as an investment management consultant for KPMG Consulting. He then was appointed COO at Fortis Private Real Estate from 2004 until 2011 before becoming the COO of BNP Paribas Real Estate UK in 2011-2014.

Tom Mundy

Head of Capital Markets Research & Strategy JLL EMEA

Tom leads Capital Markets Strategy & Research for EMEA and has over 20 years of banking and real estate experience.  Previously, he led the firm’s International Capital and Advisory businesses in Africa and has advised on some of the largest real estate transactions on the continent. Prior to joining JLL, Tom served as chief strategist for Russia’s largest private bank and before that was an emerging market equity strategist in Moscow. He holds degrees from Oxford University, University College London and is a member of RICS with a specialisation in real estate research. Tom holds a CFA in ESG investing and is a member of the Investment Property Forum’s Research Steering Committee for Europe.

John O’Driscoll

Global Co-Head of Real Estate AXA IM

John O’Driscoll is Global Co-Head of Real Estate at AXA IM Alts, a global leader in alternative investments with €184 billion of assets under management. His responsibilities include overseeing the sourcing, selection and management of real estate investments. He serves as Chairman of the AXA IM Real Estate Investment Committee and Strategic Investment Committee, a key forum for setting investment strategy and sector convictions. John is also a member of the Management Board of AXA IM Alts. 

John joined AXA IM in 2018, from global real estate advisory services firm JLL, where he was CEO of Corporate Finance and Head of Mergers & Acquisitions for the EMEA region since 2014. Prior to that he was Head of Real Estate Gaming & Lodging M&A at Deutsche Bank having joined there from the JPMorgan Real Estate Investment Banking team. John has over 20 years of experience in the international real estate investment banking and advisory industry.

Hamish Smith

Director Capital Markets – Data Centre Lead JLL EMEA

Hamish is a Director in JLL’s EMEA Capital Markets team, specialising in data centre capital transactions, including development sales, DevCo JVs, and stabilised asset and portfolio sales.

With over 10 years of real estate experience, Hamish leverages an extensive client network spanning hyperscalers, operators, and institutional investors. His expertise enables him to deliver strategic investment solutions across Europe’s evolving data centre market.

Hamish’s industry knowledge and strategic approach make him a trusted advisor for complex, high-value data centre transactions.

Stéphan Sonneville

Chairman UPSI-BVS

Stéphan Sonneville has been Chief Executive Office of ATENOR since March, 2005, marking nearly two decades of leadership. His professional journey began in 1986 at PwC, where he served as an Auditor before advancing to Senior Auditor.
In 1990, Sonneville joined ATENOR, initially as Internal Auditor. He quickly progressed through the ranks, taking on roles as Development Manager and later General Manager, before assuming his current position as CEO. A pivotal moment in his career was orchestrating the management buy-out of ATENOR in 1997, in which he became a key stakeholder.
Under Sonneville’s guidance, ATENOR has transformed into a prominent urban real estate developer with a presence in 10 European countries and a strong focus on sustainability. The company’s portfolio now boasts approximately 1.2 million square meters of high-quality mixed-use real estate projects.

Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Sonneville is actively involved in industry associations. He serves as President of UPSI-BVS (Professional Union of the Real Estate Sector in Belgium) and holds a directorship at Brussels Enterprises Commerce and Industry (BECI).

Stefano Tomaselli

Managing Director Real Estate Debt Strategies, Blackstone

Stefano Tomaselli is a Managing Director in Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies (“BREDS”) on the Private Investments team, based in London. Mr. Tomaselli focuses on sourcing, underwriting, negotiating, and structuring debt investments across all asset types throughout Europe.

Prior to joining Blackstone in 2021, Mr. Tomaselli was an Associate Director at M&G Investments in the real estate lending group, where he was involved in real estate debt investments throughout Europe.

Mr. Tomaselli received a BA with Honours from Durham University, and an MSc with Distinction from Bayes Business School.

Vincent Van Brée

Head of Capital Markets, JLL Belux

Vincent started his professional journey in 2000 at Carrefour Global Corporate Treasury in Brussels, where he served as a financial controller. In this role, he oversaw the financial control department, focusing on managing financial statements across Carrefour’s subsidiaries in Asia, Europe, and America. In January 2007, Vincent transitioned to the Investment Department at King Sturge, broadening his expertise in the real estate sector.

Following the merger between King Sturge and JLL, Vincent joined the Belgian Capital Markets team of JLL in Brussels in the summer of 2011. His career progression continued, and in January 2017, he was appointed Head of the Capital Markets department in Luxembourg and of the Office Capital Markets for Belux. As of January 2024, Vincent has assumed leadership of the Belux Capital Markets team, further solidifying his position in the industry.

Throughout his career, Vincent has accumulated extensive experience in a wide array of investment and marketing transactions. He has cultivated strong relationships within the international investment community, collaborating with prominent entities such as AG Real Estate, AXA IM, Befimmo, Blackstone and numerous others. Vincent’s expertise spans investment advisory and more recently debt & equity advisory demonstrating his comprehensive understanding of the market dynamics.

Vincent holds a Master degree in Finance and Economics from UC Louvain.

Valérie Vandenbussche

Head of Corporate Real Estate, ING Belgium & Luxembourg

Valérie Vandenbussche is a professional in the banking and real estate sector. She currently holds the position of Head of Corporate Real Estate for ING Belgium and Luxembourg, where she manages a lending book of unsecured and secured financings to the Belgian and Luxembourg Real Estate sector.

Her educational background includes a Postgraduate degree in Real Estate from KU Leuven and a Master in Financial Management from Vlerick Leuven Ghent Management School.

Prior to her current role, Valérie served as a Relationship Manager for Corporate Real Estate, handling REITS and large institutional funds investing in Belgian real estate assets. She has also worked as a Relationship Manager for Large Companies, managing client portfolios and analyzing lending requests.

Valérie began her career at ING through their General Management Traineeship program, where she gained diverse experience across various departments, including Financial Markets and Finance

Yuehan Wang

Global Research Director - Real Estate Technologies, JLL EMEA

Yuehan Wang leads JLL’s Global Technology Research program, providing critical insights into the digital transformation of the real estate industry for investors, occupiers, and developers.

With expertise from MIT in technological change and innovation strategies for the built environment, Yuehan collaborates with JLL’s CTO, WD and CM tech leaders to develop strategic visions on AI and technology-enabled futures in real estate. Her research covers macrotrends in technology, technology adoption journey, PropTech supplier landscape, and deep dives into subjects like AI’s impact on real estate and companies’ AI implementation challenges.
